Have been watching Pose, an emotional depiction of marginalised people with AIDS ravaging their community. Tragic and inspiring in equal measures.

Comedy?

It has its moments.

I didn't think Game of Thrones had the capacity to disappoint me any more. How wrong I was.

I’ve not watched the new episode yet but the idea of the biggest battle scene ever or whatever it is just makes me assume it’s going to be a proper boring episode.

Plus it sounds to be too dark to see what is happening.

I feel completely vindicated for having never started watching it.

^ I nearly maxed out the gamma on my screen. Shame because some of the brighter scenes probably would've looked good. The brightness has been a problem for me constantly in this and the last series.

Just really poor writing though. All the cleverness and thematic stuff of the early series/books thrown away in favour of tropey badass stuff. Hope GRRM finishes the books before he dies.

I will say this, it's definitely not boring though.

I wish I knew how to do that hiding spoilers trick so I could have a full blown rant. But I’ll settle for just saying, I agree completely.

So so dark, had to turn off all the lights and crank the screen up and still was dark in places

I dunno. I liked it. It was big, it was gripping, yeah it was a bit obvious,hopefully with that out of the way it can round everything off.

Some of it was kinda cool. And some ( a lot ) of it was kinda shitty. Like, real shitty. I enjoyed all the fan theories for this episode though

The whole thing felt very rushed and poorly written. Very anticlimactic and underwhelming IMO.
