The Vegan Thread

Does anyone fancy doing another early evening vegan meet-up? It's been years. :)

For continuity's sake, we could visit Cook Daily in London Fields. (I imagine you have to book, but I can enquire.) Would that be close enough to Central London for people, or should we do something like Kalifornia Kitchen (see last page or so)?

So many options, though, so perhaps you know somewhere better?

Also, I've just been for an open-water swim in Shadwell Dock, got out and changed into a t-shirt, and had my first vegan Magnum. I'm not sure what's going on with the world right now, but I think I like it.

Sounds like we could just meet up at Greggs.

No way, we might bump into snottyotter, who'll probably have eaten all the sausage rolls by the time we get there.

Well I know where we are taking our summer holidays this year then!

Plus as far as British seaside towns go it's actually quite nice, not full on tat driven, nice buildings and beautiful views from and of the surrounding mountains. Almost worth visiting without the bakery centre.

Is that Welsh for dogging?

Or just what you use to clean up with afterwards?

Went there last year. Nice evening ride up the Great Orne comes recommended, didn't try the greggs tho.

We went tobogganing, which I think is similar.

We had no pets with us at all, I'm afraid.

Olive oil and plant based milk (I like using oatly / provitamil) and whatever seasonsing you want as well

Or buy some naturli ‘butter’ (literally the best butter replacement ever) and use that

Vitalite or similar, mayo, salt, pepper, nutritional yeast and a bit of whatever milk you have if needed.
