Oh he has one...he said Brexit should go ahead, and he tries to renegotiate something better.
How Labour will do this as the manisto printed that freedom of movement WILL end. Well maybe not, but will it? But we make it sound like it should, yeah? So they have to backpedal on this then.
Customs Union? Still means border checks in NI. He should know...Norway/Sweden have checks by hand, not many, but they do. Switserland has a long queue, still.Labour Party Conference policy seems to be 1: Try for a GE 2: People's vote if that fails.
It would be nice if he would stick to that rather than the "well we try to make it happen anyway"

If there is a GE who would people vote for? I've never not voted Labour, but I'm fucked if I'm voting for Lexit.

I just read a twitter in the guardian that she plans to push on with her plan.
https://twitter.com/tnewtondunn/status/1085145840719667201?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
I don't know whether it's plausible that she would or not, but is that allowed? Does the vote have no teeth?

This guy seems cool
-
• #16456
I'm 42 and I've always voted Labour, never voted any other way.
Corbyn's Lexit stance has pushed me away - I'll be voting Greens or Lib Dem.
-
• #16457
i mean... greens i get, if you must, but not the fucking lib dems. fuck those guys.
-
• #16458
Basically me but I'm four years younger. There's no way I'm voting for a party that wants to deliver Brexit with a pro-Brexit (useless) leader.
Not sure I could vote Lib Dem either so Green is most likely although I'm not up-to-speed on their Brexit policy.
Not that it makes any difference as DIANE ABBOTT will win here anyway.

Kang sounds like a being I can get behind.

Spoiling your ballot is a valid democratic exercise of course, as long as you vote.
In other news Tulip Siddiq is delaying her caesarean so she can vote today because she has absolutely no faith in the pairing system after the government 'stole the vote of a new mother' (her words) in July.
Shameful.
-
• #16461
you could say she's... delaying Labour
-
• #16462
bravo

• #16463
ba dum

• #16464
DIANE ABBOTT
your beef with her is same as my beef with compass tyres
-
• #16465
She doesn't function properly?
I saw her in Chick 'n' Sours in Dalston before Christmas. Never ever see her in my bit of the constituency but see her on TV all the time.
-
• #16466
Wait now you're saying Compass tyres are racist?
-
• #16467
Dammit, you beat me to it. Was going to call you racist and post this gif.
-
• #16468
Going back to the Tulip Siddiq thing, Kemi Badenoch is either a despicable human being or she really doesn't get it. I don't think either are OK.
-
• #16469
"that one vote is not going to make a difference"
Um.
Did she just say that on TV?
-
• #16470
Not voting Labour will return another Tory government would people really rather that?
-
• #16472
I'd prefer Kodos. Or is it Kang? I can't remember.
-
• #16473
How does a Labour hard remainer set a pairing vote? Is it with a hard brexit tory, or a soft brexit tory or a tory remainer in a brexit constituency who doesn't know whether to support the government or not. Or is she paired with a hard brexit Labour MP?
So many MPs are not saying what they think, not saying how they vote, it makes getting an effective pair impossible. -
• #16474
I'd deny it but that's what racists do, isn't it?
-
• #16475
She's also pro fox hunting and once hacked into Harriet Harman's website (a criminal offence), then admitted to it in an interview:
https://inews.co.uk/news/politics/kemi-badenoch-admits-she-hacked-a-labour-mps-website-to-say-nice-things-about-the-tories/She wrote to Harman who accepted her apology but she was subsequently reported to Action Fraud.
I don't think Parliament has ever seen a bunch of MPs with as high stupidity levels as the most recent Tory intake.
In my alternative reality that wouldn't have happened as the cross-party group would precede it. Hey ho. That would (probably) have ended up in some version of Brexit, and this way we may still not. So...¯_(ツ)_/¯
