  • It was well corked, some of the rather reviews mention similar.

  • That looks like a proper pint.

  • It was. Went back next day for more, despite hangover. It'll be all gone now :(

  • I might have to order it
I am not down with dessert porters.

  • De Molen Hutje & Mutje Woodford Reserve Barrel Aged; nobody does strong English as well as the Dutch.

  • Defo get some.

Kinda related, I've got the Cloudwatee Xmas Porter waiting back home for Xmas too: https://cloudwaterbrew.co/beer/to-you

    much excited.

Edit.. and some De Molens. Nov & Dec have been good for my LBS.

  • Swung by the parents in the Peaks last week & stopped by the Buxton Brewery tap house.

Had a Trolltunga last night - Gooseberry Sour. Was tasty.

  • Mate just did a trip to Bruges so we have a bunch this kind of thing for xmas.

  • I'm getting a bit squiffy...

  • Binkie Claws Almond BA and a nice side of Islay.

  • Took a punt on this from To Øl, it's the tequila Jule Mælk Imperial Stout glad I did it's so good, really subtle flavouring, I was worried it might be a bit OT.

  • Went for the Islay version myself, damn tasty. And a hell of a lot easier to drink than the ABV would have you think.

  • Held onto this for a year. Still fizzy, very dark coffee.

  • Dry January all around or something?

Had some more of the Abstrakts at new year, all a similar theme.

Back on the St Bernadus 12 now.

  • The beers in Wetherspoons were so poor last night we ended up on this stuff.

    Chorley's #1 Herbal Liqueur.

1 of how many... I need to try them all.

  • P.s. we went without the Monster Energy, paying more for that choice.

  • Aka a Brexit Bomb

  • Not here, went to The Experiment yesterday in search of Verdant's Putty, sold out in cans but managed to try it just before the last keg ran out.

  • This is fantastic. Light, crisp, but still tasty.
