There is a 'see fewer posts like this' button on the discover feed. Although I don't know how effective it is. I agree with amey though, unless its your source of income theres no need to take it too seriously. Other people using your photos shouldnt detract from the enjoyment of taking and sharing quality photos with your friends/family/strangers on the internet

Create new account. Have both accounts open in a a browser + private window. Change name of original account from jkbrwn to jkbrwn1234. Save. Quickly change new account name to jkbrwn before some scally takes what is rightfully mine. I figured that the likelihood of someone else trying to take that name in the four seconds it took me was unlikely.

I've been toying with doing this. As much as it's nice to have a good number of followers, it freaks me out that I don't know who half of them are and yet they feel invested in my life. That said since I quit racing and only post my film photos I am losing them rapidly but it still feels like there's so much noise that it's deafening. It's harder and harder to filter out the good stuff. Although I've started following a lot more photographers and creatives lately, there's a lot to be said for the current notion that everyone's work is started to look similar because they are all unconsciously soaking up the same influences and ideas. So maybe that's a bad idea too! Thoughts?

It's funny you say that. I haven't followed a single person that I used to, outside of my partner, and friends have already started to refollow me. I had to enter my phone number to use multi factor auth. Friends obviously have their Instagram set to trawl their phone book and pick up any phone numbers associated with an Instagram profile...
It certainly helped get rid of the noise you mention though. Not a single boring 'bike influencer' photo. Nothing like the tasteless scantily clad bikini model influencers that clogged my discover feed before. All gravy. Refreshing to say the least.

Looking for a new 35mm point and shoot, had a yashica t4 but fell out of love with it a bit, looking for a bit more functionality. Any recommendations? Max budget would be around 200 and needs Flash.
And here's a Pic I took the other night on colourplus 200-nikon f90x

I had two Mju 2's but both of them kept breaking. Same as my XA. I'm now trying my luck with a Konica Big Mini. I've had it for years but it's a simpler beast and hopefully, the shots will come out okay! Broke my elbow and waiting for surgery so manual shooting is out the window for a few months. Absolutely gutted.

I should really try this because it is an old camera (prod begins in 1984) and the first autofocus compact camera from Nikon. I wonder how precise and fast the AF is.

Smeared ... I’d imagine?
I print two big a3 albums each year plus some smaller ones for holidays etc. Nothing better than seeing them printed
