Neil’s making better progress than I thought he might. He is close to the Greek border.

How far is it from the border to the finish?

Could he actually finish tomorrow??

If he takes the route most people took it's 175-ish kms.

He ought to be able to do that his n a day but he might well not.

He’s at the border and stopped.

He crossed the border, got some kip ( about 8 hours) and now he’s moving. This could be the day. Day 41.

Going solely by the rant, does self-employed mean unemployable?

He’s been riding for six weeks. He’s been alone, frightened, beset with problems. Let’s allow him one rant in circumstances in which just about anyone else would have packed up and gone home.

Anyway, he will be going home soon. He might make it today. If not he certainly will tomorrow.

We've got Ede Harrison (179) in upstairs, was a little starstruck as she's wearing the cap.

It's pissing it down up here, so probably didn't need to, she also managed to win herself a new canyon. If you check her Instagram you'll see an impressively handsome mechanic lurking in the background.

Scott can't fix bikes for shit, he fixes computers.

I think that he has 60-80km left to ride. If he rides through, he might get there around midnight.

I do hope that his girlfriend has flown out to greet him.

That’s good. It would be awful to imagine him arriving to no one.

He is almost on the parcours. It is happening. Six week’s of dotwatching are about to come to an end.

Would be insanely funny and steeped in irony if he took the KOM on the last climb.
