riding 2000 km a day repeatedly is very tough
I bet!

Yeah, Clive, with your track record of riding 2000km per day, you must be able to manage the paltry 450-500km averages of the likes of skinny.
No more excuses now. :)

Did you manage to rip a copy? The missus recorded all the channels last night but I've not watched any of it to see if you're on it.

Actually, many years ago, by the Miss Cleats who didn’t want their father to see what they were up to. Now they don’t use it because their mother is all over it.

It's a bit better now :-). It's easier for him to cycle than to walk anyway.

Tom, thank you.
I did have a long ride planned for this summer but a succession of injuries and illnesses over the winter and spring ruined my training plan and forced a postponement until next year.
It was a year ago today that I started my London to Cambridge excursion. What that taught me is that riding 200 km a day repeatedly is very tough for a fat old man but doing so without home luxuries, carrying kit, climbing mountains, facing gravel and dogs, and heat and storms and searching for food is more than I could expect of myself. I so admire those still on the road.
