At bikepacking trans Germany the spot info went to spot and then I gave my spot page to the site that did the race map.

Skinny's route is much closer to what I would have done.
Bjorn seems to be going more on main roads - maybe they will be faster.
Will be interesting to see how this plays out. It feels even closer than last year.

Yes, really frustrating.
With tracking when it works, it works fine, but when it doesn't, it seems to be a pig to get fixed.
You're doing well and don't let it get to you too much - it will all get sorted out in the end.

Brompton guy 34 is approaching CP1.

Did Chpt3 give their bikes to the Tour de France commentary team on C4? I saw Ned and David Millar riding them in some of their short films. Our is there some connection to David Millar's clothing range?

After seeing something on twitter and checking his feed hat160 looks like he’s having a moment and might (only might) be about to bail. I am hoping that he’s gone to the train station for foodbthpugh, but it does look like he’s gone up something steep and thought “nah”

Amazing how we end up getting emotionally invested in a dot on a screen (of course, it’s more due to all the snippets of info you see around that, but still, I’m sat here willing him on when I should be planning pallet flows)

He might had the same problem like in 2015 and 2016 with allergic reaction sun / skin. Too sad, he is such a strong rider.

It's pretty hot, again. Not the high 30s like previous days but when you're climbing in the sun you're soaked in minutes. I hope to be in Bovec somewhere late afternoon.
