Thats really nice. I had a gold Tangente for a while and regret selling it every day.

I fancy a Seiko twin quartz of some description (the double penis model)
I know sod all about them and the different models though (there seems to be King, Grand, Superior and a few other iterations that I can see). Anyone got any pointers? I realise the combination of Seiko and quartz won't be to everyone's taste.

What @Stonehedge said. Nah I’ll make you something but you deal with lab-spec machine-finished QC all day. It would be like handing you a Seiko 5... from India.

I still can't work out if I love or hate this watch. The fact I keep wearing it is probably a hint. Just got it out of the box to sell it for a third time but ended up putting it on and repeatedly staring at it.

Elegant? Has someone hacked CB's account?

Plenty of options on amazon or second hand on eBay. Main decisions obviously are number of watches and glass top or not. I quite like Rapport and Dunwich Design boxes. YMMV.

Actually I have one of these for sale, barely used, boxed, £80 collected

I can vouch for Wolf watch boxes. Very well made, unless you drop from a height.

I have a cheapo watch box from Amazon. Have struggled to find anything decent sized that's not hundreds of pounds.
The Wolf ones look interesting @Stonehedge I assume they are actually leather rather than synthetic are they?
-

The ones I have are real leather. Don’t know if the whole range is leather also.

Question on insurance - My insurer has asked that I get a new lock on the rear door otherwise policy wont cover watches in the house. Anyone got any experience here they can help with? @Soul @Stonehedge @freddo ?
-
• #28720
Sorry - all of my spendy watches are on my insurance and they've required any modifications to the house or anything else...
I'm with Admiral.

Is it a solid door, or UPVC (double glazed) or what?
There are particular types of cylinder locks that are more secure than others. Some require a serious proprietary key, and are expensive for spares. Not all security keys are created equal.
I’d ask for greater info in case they mean an additional latch and lock, or simply a less bump-able cylinder.
-
• #28722
surely you can ask them?!
-
• #28723
uh, get a new lock - how expensive is it? Are you renting? I have insurance with intelligent insurance, security cameras and an alarm system. I take other measures which I won't go in to online ;)
