That is a nice grand Seiko, can't believe it! And it doesn't have the awful black letter style GS logo.

Is it 70's? Certainly has that 70 futuristic vibe

The VFA (Very Fine Adjusted) were 1970-75 if I’m regurgitating correctly, rare in such condition though, this one’s $11k.

Blurry watch is hot. Also that watch roll is nice. Can you take a bunch of photos of it before selling so i can rip it off please? I think it’s worth too much to buy just to copy

It’s more of a strap roll with a space for two or three straps and tool to change. A bit like the Speedy Tuesday from last year and the ‘57 trilogy ones.

Hmmm okay. Well if you get a moment to take some full photos, I might use its pattern as inspiration. Gonna see what leather I have left later.

2 years on and I've still not found out much about the little Lancia automatic that I bought in a pawn shop. I've noticed that the case back has a lot of generic info on it and I've seen it on other watches. Can anyone shed any light on rough age and any other details?

I am planning whether it’s worth a trip to Lineapelle in September, and if anyone actually wants leather goods, I can plan how much I need to try and buy and bring back.

This would be high grade leather. I am planning to probably get stuff from a Japanese tannery, likely horse (cordovan) rather than cow.

I’ll be prototyping a few bits on my last scraps by the weekend if there’s interest.

I currently have some Chinese foil pressed (shiny patterns) goatskin, and a few other bits if anyone is feeling jazzy.
