some quartz three(ish) handers if you must

Finally managed to get a Speedbird GMT.
How?

Rather than quartz I'd say the Seiko/Citizen solar/eco-drive etc.
Quartz reliability, battery never runs out, there are shed loads of them generally under £200.

One finally came up on eBay. Probably the first in about 2 or 3 years I've had the notification set.

The Merci LMM-01, perfect, I’d forgotten all about it. Thanks! That may be the one.
I do like Farer, but they are on the dear side.
The Longines is something I was considering, it’s bound to crop up in one of the big jewellers’ sales sooner or later.

Quartz Max Bill, sub £500 even cheaper secondhand. Mondane are interesting too.

I can look after you on Longines.

Yes, EOL indication kicks in when battery voltage hits a certain threshold. What type of case back is on that watch?
-
• #28285
Farer GMT quartz maybe?
Edit: freddo was ahead of me :)

I would love one of those... You might find it difficult to get one for under £500...

My mistake, there's one on eBay right now...

Won't ship to Oz... Just sent a special export enquiry, should be 20% cheaper minus the VAT... 🤞

Sweet okay
Pretty sure camera at the gym’s pool is asking for trouble. I’ll go stick my arm in a river or something.
