Did it arrive before 4:19?

Marr is painfully, transparently partisan. Not a great look for a supposedly neutral interviewer.
-

So many lies on Marr today from May, completely unchallenged by Marr.

And all pre-recorded by all accounts.
Radio 4 now presenting the opinions of newspaper barons as fact and referring to David Davis as "the Brexit Bulldog".

As a journalist who often defends the Beeb on here from criticism I feel is unfair, I think Nick Cohen’s critique of their Brexit coverage here is spot on

I'm not sure the Brexit bulldog reference is a positive one. Listen to Dead Ringers sometime.
-
• #52734
I'd rather not.

It used to be fairly amusing, now it mostly comes across as a howl of dispair.
-
• #52736
You know that's a clip from a "comedy" show and not the news?
-
• #52737
Yes - thats why I chose it in reply to greenhell who thought it was the 'news'.

it wasn't a comedy show, it was the newspaper review. i guess you'd have to have listened to it to realise that it was devoid of any reference to said show and was said without a hint of irony. thanks for letting me know what i think tho.

I know you weren't listening to the comedy show - you were listening to the look at the papers.
I can't find it here https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0b6fb3w but seems a bit of a coincidence that "the Brexit Bulldog" used in dead ringers for the last 2 years or more then pops up somewhere else.
What do you think ? -

Yep, Brexit Bulldog is a joke pretty much every week (and definitely not flattering). I'd be very surprised if it wasn't an in-joke being used on a show on the same station.

Ye. No temporary or planned permanent sprinkler systems. No active fire patrols.

Rumours that the three people who were sadly found dead at Loughborough Junction station this morning may have been graffiti writers...

Where are the rumours from? BiL is friends with a lot of them and lives yards from LJ.
Edit: Croydon Advertiser saying spray cans seen near the bodies. No idea of the reliability of this information.

Lots of sections of railway where people spray often are littered with sparycans, doesn't mean a thing unless it's by a half finished wall.
BBC article on thingy getting mugged:
“The number of offences carried out by criminals using mopeds in London has increased from 827 offences in 2012 to more than 23,000 last year.”
But really, tell me how a ‘dangerous cycling’ law is more important, please.
