Can anyone recommend some decent, comfortable underwear. Not CK and nothing with big branding on the waistband please.
Thanks!

Icebreaker are good, but fail in the branding and cost categories.

I have plenty of outdoor/technical base layers and quite a few merino pairs from Rapha - I'm really looking for some nice comfortable cotton.

I get boxer shorts from Uniqlo. At first I assumed they wouldn't last long but they've proven me wrong. They have them in a range of colours, with no branding and they're super comfortable. And really inexpensive. It's very easy to spend £30+ on boxers (Sunspel, Schiesser etc) but I just cannot bring myself to.

With you on this uniqlo boxers are the way to go. I like it they are unbranded and do last well.
they used to so a seamless pair that were super comfy but cant find them now. -

Sunspel have semi regular sample sales etc - I picked up 10 pairs for £6 a pair just after xmas.
Muji also do good boxer shorts.

Tempting, but that's very blue. Too blue? Will it fade with time you think?
-
• #3071
It's 100% cotton so yes it will fade as you wear it I'd expect, don't worry you'll be looking like Bill Cunningham in no time

A few of you guys expressed an interest in the first line before we ran out of stock. Just wanted to say our second collection is now on pre-order. We have a few fresh colours and a new short sleeve smock. All made in Gloucester in the same thicker, 238gsm Irish linen as our first line.
And here's a pre-order discount code you can use that'll get you 10% (expires 6th June): LFGSS

I've had problems with shrinkage of linen shirts in the past, SEH in particular.
Always washed no warmer than 30º, hung to dry.
Would your heavier weight make any difference, or is yours pre-washed? -
• #3074
I’m not sure how much shrinkage you get with your SEH shirts but ours shrink c.3% in their first wash and then, if anything, give slightly after 4-5 more washes. We’ve built a shrinkage allowance into the sizing though with an explanation when you get the shirt etc. We don’t use sanforized (pre-shrunk) linen cos tumbled gives it a softer handle at the weight we use. Very happy to give size recommendations if you’re interested :)

That is a seriously nice shirt. What size for a 39 inch chest?
These guys are pretty aggressively unfashionable.
