  • Interesting... Let me have a think.

  • From the weekend on the K1000. Upset my pooch's nose is out of focus... Rain was from the biblical downpour on Saturday night. Surprised it came out to be honest but I'm glad it did. Was very dramatic - literally the kind of rain that took my breath away as I had to run through it back to my flat from the bus stop.

  • lovely shots, esp the nighttime ones
    what were you using?

  • a Contax G2 is like an M6, except you can shoot one handed and quickly.
I picked up mine - black, 35mm f2 lens, and flash - for £600 on ebay a few weeks ago.

  • Have edited the post. Pentax K1000 / Portra 4000

  • holiday snap spam alert

  • A few from a recently developed roll of Superia 200 (expired 20 years ago) - Canon AF35M

  • Few back from a recent roll. All Ektar in a Mju ii

  • Is it as robust as the M6, they don't seem to have as much hype as the T2? Hows it compared to the M6?

  • Just had a look, £600 seems like a steal for what you got.

  • yes, they are as robust as the M6 in my experience, and I used them quite a bit, believe me
£600 was cheap but not a steal, you just have to have patience and watch ebay very carefully, one always comes up if you wait a bit.

  • Every T2 seems to go for fortunes, Im kinda tempted by the Nikon that Amey suggested and just get some P&S

  • Le chat. Not mine. Wish he was. He's lovely.

    Nice.
    Especially like the last three.

  • Canon AF35M

    Like these.
Looking forward to shooting with one of these Canons one day.

  • recent

    Like the first one!

  • Oh my, what a gorgeous cat!

  • 3rd one. Falmer Station?

  • Yeah I was quite surprised with some of the results especially with a 20years expired film. I will unfortunately sell it as I am going travelling and will take a Nikon L35 AW with me, which should be fun as well.

  • These are nice, good skin tones for Ektar. I love Ektar.

  • Haha yes. Guessing you went to Sussex? That was just after sunrise around 6.30am when nobody was about. Rare to see the underpass with nobody walking through it

  • Cheers! Def one of my favourite rolls to shoot on, very versatile. Also reminds me I need to pick up some portra for summer

  • Shooting some Velvia tonight.

  • xpost from the film processing thread, where to get your rolls done, 2018 edition:

best in London if you're not a professional - Rapid Eye or Chan Imaging
best in London if you are a professional - PM me
best out of London for budget - Snaps Photo Services, Bournemouth
best out of London for quality and best overall for the price - Palm Labs, Birmingham
best if you need super 8 film done - Gauge Film, Birmingham

strongly advise against: eyeculture, photofusion, west end imaging, any snappy snaps/boots/asda
less strongly advise against: aperture, bayeux, metro

I understand if anyone disagrees with this list, fact is I've used every single place here several times and I have their rep also from others and people that work in each place. happy for other opinions.

  • That's very kind platypus! Cheers
