  • These two are top! (Even if the 2nd could do with a slight straightening! )

  • Loooooooooooooooooooooovely. Where were these taken?

  • I have a similar-ish.

  • I did straighten this! Think the ladder is wonky.

  • Wormit, Fife. Love my cycle to work.

  • Took some stuff just messing around with the K1000 to see how it was to use. I love it! So nice having manual settings that aren't overwhelming. Just a few that I liked:

  • The K1000 is such a nice bit of kit, so solid. I was lucky enough to buy one as my first film camera and when I came to sell it sold it to my dad so that I knew I could one day buy it back haha.

  • Hahaha that's so funny. Looks like it's peeking through with it's paws on either side of the curtains

  • Nice to see you enjoy shooting that Rolleicord. Lovely colours and punch in those images..
Just got some film for mine as well, need to shoot some big negs for a change!

  • So nice having manual settings that aren't overwhelming.

    Welcome to the club

Nice shots! Like all of these. Great colours.

  • Great fun, keep shooting and posting!

  • Get on it Tina, take it out and shoot some strangers.

  • shoot some strangers

..to celebrate the GDPR (that becomes enforcable from today on where I live) you mean?
    : ]

To be fair I've been too shy to shoot strangers long before this happened,
also people are super conscious about themselves and their rights long before the GDPR as well where I am, so that's that.
I will however be going to this thing (and you have encouraged me a bit to take the Rollei along instead of SLRs), and I have bought two reels of Portra 160 (and have two of Acros in the fridge as well), however most likely I won't be posting the portraits I'm going to shoot online, but I will send you an invitation to my fancy gallery show once I do have one, deal?

  • For sure! Any excuse to come to Berlin!

  • Thanks :-) I most certainly will.

  • Shooting some Kodak E100S slides. Metering with a spot meter is so foreign to me I'll be amazed if they turn out.

  • I'd just like some small, thats sharp, has manual controls and has a flash for night time portraits! I know what you mean about the hipster tax they aren't cheap now.
