Any other explanation for this than brexitters looking to take out a remainer? Precisely the 'blue on blue' conflict the Tories sought to avoid during the Referendum sloganeering.

also Lee's commentary on the sad Windrush debacle in today's Guardian (other papers are available...)
-
• #52129
Yeah; great piece. I frickin love Stewart Lee.
You stoked this hate volcano, racists. And now it has exploded all over your front garden and melted your Ford Focus. Is this what you wanted?

Oh, this just keeps getting better and better:
-
• #52131
BBC reporting that Rudd has finally resigned.

• #52132
The racism volcano claims another victim.

"now we get to the meat"

Need Davis to resign now to redress the balance. And, obviously, to stop embarrassing the country in front of the neighbours.

"integration" is just a way to say "vanish from sight" ... The same argument I so despised in Germany, where the right wing press always harp on about "ghettoisation" and "law-free societies" when people do keep their cultural identity.
In reality they just want migration to not cause migrants to have a voice, so they can marginalise without push back.

What happens if May resigns - do the Conservatives get to swap in someone else, or will there be an election?

farewell our shit and useless servant

Apologies for my poor political judgement.

Do you not remember how she became PM?
-
• #52141
Fixed Term Parliament Act suggests Tory party leadership election.

• #52142
But then May torched her majority

• #52143
"progressive Tory"
How does that even?
-
• #52144
No video footage of them attending a lynching in the public domain?
-
• #52145
Labour's strategy was clearly to get Rudd out of the way so that they could take clearer aim at May. It was confusing with those two in post and it being unclear who was responsible for what.
-
• #52146
And she remained PM. What have I missed?

So it's taken Rudd knowingly evicting British citizens (brown ones-so can be conflated with immigrants in your casual Tory/UKIP supporter) from the UK, lying about it, being proven to lie about it, and over a week of brass necking, to quit.
How fucking much does it take to get BoJo, Davis or May out of a job then? With the bar set that high we could be looking at:
BoJo: drunkenly trying to grab Angela Merkel's tits then announcing that Prince Louis is his child
Davis: leaked photo of him dressed as a Gollywog (including blackface) from Tory Conference after party circa 1988
May: Captured on CCTV breaking into an orphanage and eating babies to regenerate her majority
The worrying thing for UK politics is that all these things seem perfectly feasible at this point in time.

Rudd has finally resigned
Although it seemed so obvious, I'm slightly surprised.
I assume the party is so weak they just needed her to move on so they can redirect the conversation somewhere else.

Ester mcvey is the perfect racist candidate judging by what she has done to the poor and handicapped.

handicapped
Really?
Ok but an additional Brit so costs more resources... I understand immigration can be more "sudden" it's harder to plan for, but planning needs done anyway.
Dutch people integrate and vanish. Because if we wanted to be among Dutch we'd stayed in the Netherlands :p
Joking aside, I don't integrate well with Dutch football hooligans either. And I'm part Northern Irish by now but I won't integrate to the orange Vs green politics (ew!)
What really is it that we want out of integration? :)
