Nice tag. I know it but can't get there until tomorrow at earliest.

Hmm,first thought was that this is a retag of the Gandhi statue in Tavistock Gardens. But it's not.

Then I noticed it was @oat44 and felt silly.

Apparently it's the Rik Mayall memorial bench in Hammersmith.

Ah, another chance to broaden your cultural understanding of the British, have a look at "The Young Ones".

Charles James Fox, and his statue then. A gambling addict, a womaniser, a debtor, and a dandy, Fox may seem undeserving to be the only political figure commemorated in the Bloomsbury squares other than Gandhi. But he was a staunch defender of civil liberties, and was prominently anti slave trade, pro American Independence and pro French Revolution. He spent most of his political career opposite Pitt the Younger until 1806 when Fox briefly became Britain's first Foreign Secretary.

He was a close associate of the Duke of Bedford, who owns much of the area. This explains the unusual outward facing position of the statue as he stares away from Bloomsbury Square down Bedford Place to a corresponding statue of the 5th Duke of Bedford on the south side of Russell Square.

New. Clue: merged houses in to a school, then a hospital, then a hotel. Was a good spot for a walk, now it's more about the columns.

Wankers the lot of you, I knew the last few.

That architecture screams of a particular part of London, but streetview says no...

This is what I thought, then I thought there is another part that is could be, then I thought of another...

Turns out London is full of Georgian fucking terraces, none of which seem to be this one.
