The group that used to be based in the above address was political rather than mystical or religious. The HQ was raided by the Met 40 years ago last month, after which they went underground.
After nearly four decades of obscurity, they recently became widely known as a cult rather than a movement when the leader was convicted and imprisoned for Koresh/Fritzl-style behaviour. Since then, he hasn't noticeably overthrown any governments or caused any natural disasters although he insists a challenge to his leadership once caused the death of seven astronauts.

Hah, yes! I was surprised when I popped into LMNH on mine last Sunday, asked if I could store it inside and they said "You mean beside that one?". Theirs is an even less safe design, has the original under-the-legs tiller-style bars. At some point I'll do the same to mine, just for giggles, by putting ape hangers into the adjustable stem and flipping it.

The owner was looking at me quite suspiciously when I propped bike against the pillar to get the picture. I explained what I was doing, and it seemed to confuse him even more...

Absolutely no idea, and cryptic crossword clues are of no use to me. Lovely photo tho.

Clue for the clue:
The 'in this street' part of the clue simply means that the answer is a street name; it's the rest of the clue that needs solving.

Got it. Storecarhendrop Road

Actually not a bad guess. Parts of that answer are right; other parts are almost right.
Almost went at lunch. Then couldn't be bothered. Too far the wrong way for after work too.
