A few weeks after you were made their contact at CTUK, they've snapped into action and started resurfacing the Uxbridge Road from the western edge of the Common to the corner with the Metro Bank, and some further along in West Ealing. Good job!

Neither of last Summer's pubs were green grass gardeny.

Wests default in good weather was generally the Ship. This may have changed.

I'm still undecided as to whether I want to do Wests or ThNRC, sorry. I'll probably decide tomorrow.

I think @skydancer recommended The Crabtree a while back. Worth a try?

Yes the Crabtree has now opened up more backing onto the Thames and it has a huge beer garden too. Would be worth trying it again now.

However I am about to have some Dental Surgery this afternoon so it is unlikely that I will be in a fit state for a drinking session this evening.

(Re-usable) straw will overcome any problems with still anaesthetised lips.

And I suppose the Alcohol will help dissolve the stitches... Keep things clean at least
