Nice! How’s it on the cobbles?
I’m considering taking mine to P-R next weekend... what’s the largest tyre anyone has fitted to an AB frame?
Cheers,

How's this for 'neo-retro'! @erikfox's new Gazelle 125 anniversary:

Damn that’s nice... blue hoods are a bit too much for my taste bit looks great with the deltas! Did you get one as well Peter?

I very much like it that he used a vintage groupset on a modern frame instead of the other way around.
No, before I found out about the new Gazelle I had just bought an other modern steel bike: Jaegher Interceptor... ergo: wallet empty. I'm happy with my 3 vintage ones though :)

I also like he has gone for the Vredestein tyres!
Here is my team Vredestein nearly ready for Paris-Roubaix, just need to tweek the shifter position, tape the bars and see which fit better between Panaracer Gravelking (32mm) and Challenge Strada Bianca (30mm)

Sweet Champ! I didn't know those SRAM (?) shifters came in silver as well, nice neo retro mix

It was great on the cobbles (other than sounding like a bag of spanners, those athena mechs have bugger all tension) got up all the nasty climbs no probs.
I had 25's in with not that much clearance.. Il try a 28 in there though and see how it goes

I'm going to attempt the local chain gang on it this week and see what happens. I reckon it might keep up with the carbon bikes OK.

Good to hear! I’ve got about an hour to decide between my gazelle with 32mm gravelracers or a titanium bike with 27mm open pave for the weekend...

Looks awesome.
There's no way I'm fitting in anything bigger than a 28 in my non lugged fork. Just had a look and with 25s it's on the tight side.

That's a cobble slayer right there

👍🏻 Cheers, fingers crossed!! Maybe 32s are a step too far, a bit too novelty... I’m taking the open pave as an option, guys used to do this on 23c not that long ago!

Just a thought, what’s the clearance like at the crown? Given it could be rather sticky mud might it build up?

Very into this

It looks great, I’d just hate to see it get damaged. Although no idea if that’d really cause any damage...!? More likely just a nuisance.

There you go.
