Bastard.

• #12634
Yeah - going on holiday is for me a lot about eating food and trying out restaurants/chefs that I've wanted to try. Also drinking. I do exercise quite a bit but still end up putting on a bit.

Dropped under 75 for the first time this year, chuffed.
Also: holidays = no restraints, if I want something I have it, simple as

And to add to the calorie burn chat, fitbit has my 28 day average calorie burn per day as ~3100. Pretty ridiculous I think.

I tend to eat what I want on holidays, but with the rule that I still need to eat fruit / veg. After years of not eating much sugar / greasy food weight gain is usually limited as I just can't eat much of those foods.
Baguette with butter though and cheese / wine hmmm. Butter is sooooo good.
The stomach bug diet is working! 60.8 I'm also grumpy... Fruit / yoghurt today...

Definite calorie deficit yesterday. Garmin says 4900kcal expenditure thanks to a reasonable swim and back to back 5-a-side games (HRavg of 181bpm for 72 minutes, max of 201bpm. Oof. No wonder I feel broken this morning.)
Still on the plateau of 94.5kg as I've had two weeks off with chest lurgy and hardly any cycle commuting.

Max HR 201?! Jesus Christ mine tops out about 175, and yes I am trying my hardest.
Been sick for a week and haven't been able to eat (or booze), today dipped under 80 to 79.1kgs which is the lowest I've been for ummmmmm five years and was my target for July. So that's 7 months, two stone lost, need to ease off on the running and do some weights/HIIT/TRX before I just become a skinny fat twiglet.

Gym at the hotel is immense - smashed out a couple of killer circuits before dinner. Going for a run tomorrow morning along the river.

Tuesday: 77.2kgs
Wednesday: 73.2kgsWtf?
-
• #12643
have you done a tally of your limbs since tuesday?
-
• #12644
It must be large glycogen reserves, can't think of anything else.
Had a work thing on Tuesday that involved eating my bodyweight in Doritos, Bao buns, Arancini and some other stuff but it seems to have been burned-off pretty quick. Need to stop gorging like that... -
• #12645
I can do that in one ride. Lift your game.

More like you were retaining water after all that salty shit and then pissed it away.
This was your previous 'weigh in'
"In other news I’ve gone from 73 to 77kgs."
So clearly the 77 was a blip
-
• #12647
Yup, I'm just a bit amazed at having a 4kg variation.
-
• #12648
Are your scales accurate?
Have you checked all your limbs are present? -
• #12649
:) Scales are digital, on an even, hard surface and confirmed to be accurate.
I think being 6ft 2 gives a lot of places for glycogen and water to hide.

I’m 6 ft. 4 kg is a huge amount. I lost 3kg in 5 days and I doubt I could have lost anymore in that time.
I’ve been able to balance beer with food!!
I try all the meat but avoid potatoes and bread. Portion size is also a factor.
Anyways - just my 2p
