Yes, you insert them with a hex key, the bolt screws into the end with the flange fitted(the top).

Thank you so much!
Soon they will play again.

I presume hubs (still deciding on which ones) don't usually come with bolt thru axles? Or do they?
What brands do you recommend?

Correct. The through-bolt should be delivered with the frame/fork since there is more than one way to anchor it, and length may vary depending on dropout thickness. There isn't a standard beyond the diameter and clamping width between dropouts.

Thanks. I will be sure to check tomorrow when I speak to Ted. I am 110% sure he knows what he is doing, but this is such an interesting / confusing learning experience for me...

Yeah, its just because I have one spare that I can use, but dont have a singlespeed one and don't want to spend the money on it right now.
Thanks!

I'm currently using a nw chainring and a nw sprocket.

• #90315
Alright, its not a dick measuring contest!
Guess thats with a 1/8 chain though yeah?
Is that on your singular? What sprocket is it?

3/32, and yep. AbsoluteBlack, entirely unnecessary but it was relatively cheap and light.

My Wiggle orders usually come via Royal Mail, but when I paid for a next day service (in November) it was sent via Yodel.
Ugh. I've not had anything about DPD delivery yet too so it does look like they might have changed it. Well if it doesn't come today they'll be refunding the lot...

Why not get it delivered to a newsagent, post office or Doddle? Doddle is included in Wiggle P+P, and presumably CR too.
This wasn't an option for next day. Would have been my preference.

Are there any brifters that will work with V-brakes?

Easiest yet cheapest way to get £300 of euros out today? From a UK bank acct using a debit card.

I use these guys, they do a very good rate when you fill in the form online, and then go to the store to pick up. Its worth it even if you do it on your phone by the door, and then walk in to pick up the money. Also much cheaper if you can pay cash. So go to the cashpoint with your debit card, and then walk into the store to pick up. Plenty of stores around London.

Marks & Spencer Bureau de Change used to do this for free - don't know whether that's still the case tho.

Thanks, am right by a M&S so will try there first
Edit. Success, despite money laundering regulations and the dry scent of cream chinos and death

Best foreign exchange will very likely be better rates than M&S.

I’ve received a letter from TSB -addressed to me but associated to a bank account and outlining transactions that have (as far as I know) nothing to do with me.
I’ve never been involved with TSB in the past so I’m curious as to why they would have my full name and address. Let alone why they would be sending me what looks like someone else’s account details.
Not sure what to do, ignore it? Contact them?
I was planning on using tnuts but upon closer inspection of the cabinet I realised that's not possible due to the way it's built.
The things in the link you posted are inserted into a hole from the same side as you would thread the bolt in to?
