In The Beginning: Genesis Owners

Has anyone got/ridden the 2018 Equilibrium disc? Looking for a fast commuter for a 52k round commute and the 20 looks like it ticks all the boxes. Geometry is spot on. Flat mount thru axle dics, decent tire clearance, mudguard mounts.

Only thing I couldn't find out is does the new fork have rack mounts?

Ordered the Equilibrium from my LBS. Should have it early next week. They're giving me a two day trial which is pretty cool.

New equilibrium disc frameset is £850. Are they high?

Already down to £720 online. To be fair it's much nicer than previous years, with proper through axles F+R.

Didn't realise that was going to be steel again, how does tange champion compare to 725?

I'm no expert but I've read that prestige was equivalent to 725 so I guess it's more like 520 maybe?

does anyone rides the vapour carbon cx frame?

I've full guards on mine so can't really get a proper measurement. Official word from Genesis in 28c with guards 30c without.
