Finally finished my equilibrium, rides so nicely, please excuse the criminal white pedals, i'll be looking for new ones in the new year! Will also be going with a stem to match the angle of the TT as that will mean i can slam it and keep the bars (which will also be changed) at about the same height
First proper ride today, got absolutely drenched in the last 5miles on the way back.

5miles
Rule #24 // Speeds and distances shall be referred to and measured in kilometers

Front mudguard coverage is tragic. Your poor feet.

I know, the fork is only flat on the front so it looses about 5-7cm at the crown as it has to be mounted at the front rather than the back, will be adding flaps in the new year too

If this was a camera, its an M5

Niche and overpriced? That's not very nice

Sheldon Fender Nut will sort that. Kinda pricey for what it is, but a nice solution.

Hmm that might work if it is wide enough not to sink into the fork, though I think looking at it its more made for old steel forks

It's a recessed nut, as is usually used in carbon forks, with a smaller diameter thread at the end to bolt the guard bracket to. I use one one on modern carbon forks. You'll probably need the long version, although you might then need to cut it down a bit as it's really long.

What are my chances of getting a 2017 model Croix de Fer 20 towards March next year? I'm unlikely to be able to afford/want to buy one before then and the blue imo is much nicer than this year's model. They don't seem to come up for sale second hand much either...

Don’t let it affect you bro, it’s not serious

What carbon forks with eyelets do people put on rim brake equilibriums? My old school version has boat anchor forks. Hiver are pricey, any alternatives that won’t impact handling? Or is it possible to buy the newer carbon ones direct from Genesis?

Ask at any Genesis dealer, they can order aftermarket stuff.

Always loved your cdf. Is the grey fork a 700c thorn disc fork? Which offset is it? How did it change the handling with front panniers? Currently have a carbon cdf fork on my cotic escapade but looking to change to the thorn one to lower the trail and add more bosses. Should drop the trail from about 58mm to 45mm with the larger offset thorn fork

I can't remember which rake if was, I assume 52mm but trawl through my build thread and you'll find it. It did help but I also went to low riders from the soma rack and that helped even more, lower the weight distribution always does.
Looks great!
