Looking for some good beers to age.
I bought a load of Orval last year and will be having one for NY but would like to add to the stock.
Thinking about Imperial Stouts and some other Monastery types that will develop over the years.
Suggestions on a postcard please?

Like every imperial stout ever.
Buxton do a lot of high abv stuff that suits aging.
Same with those crazy monks... -

Fuller's Golden Pride is legendarily supposed to be at its best 2 years after the best before date... 2017 Vintage Ale is out now as well.
Speaking of aged beers, I will probably be finishing my last bottle of Thomas Hardy's Ale this Christmas; has anyone seen the new (Italian) THA for sale anywhere in the wild? Last I checked their website was spectacularly opaque about how to actually get hold of any.

Some diy required me to unpack the cupboard of doom on the staircase to gain access to the crawlspace of despair.
Found this Crimbo gift pack from the late '90s.Rodenbach Bier 5.0%
Rodenbach Alexander (Cherry) 6.0% (Platinum medal World Beer Championship 1996)
Rodenbach Grand Cru 6.5%
Pity the best before dates are 18 11 98 / 03 02 99 / 03 05 99

Not 'use by'
The 6.5% might have enough alcohols to have kept well?

Where have you seen the 2017 Fullers? I've struggled to find it this year (not looked that hard TBF)
I have a few older ones I laid (2007 is the oldest I think)

Picked up a couple in my local big Waitrose, as well as a limited edition imperial stout (£5/£8 respectively). There weren't that many left on the shelf, but would have thought there'd be more coming in - they're not that limited.
Only a 2007 and a couple of 2012 left for me otherwise...

Whole foods at Soho had a couple of cases of Fuller Vintage 2016, I grabbed a couple of bottles, £6 each.
Also got Delerium Christmas to see if that's any good. -
