  • You can see the stay mounted light in this image, quite a tidy solution given the restrictions, I used sugru to run the cables and just wrapped an old inner tube round the stays to give the right diameter for the light to sit right.

  • amazing thanks!

Any detailed pics would be appreciated if you have, esp the bar mount :)

I was thinking Di2 cable sheath but sugru isnt a bad idea either.

  • ha! I wish. Its going to be @hippy bodge job®

  • That's what we like to see!

    zipties and electrical tape ftw

  • Di2 sheath would be tidier, getting sugru off the frame cleanly after is a bit of a pain.

I'm rebuilding the bike onto a CDF at the moment, i'm planning to mount a light on the mudguard instead, and my front will go off the hole on the fork rather than on the bars.

If you decide to go this route and are ordering other lights etc, we could trade, if you order me a fender mounting Secula you can have my stay mounted one and the handlebar light bracket.

Possibly yes! Havent ordered yet. When do you need to order by?

I already have a fender mounted secula on another bike, its great!

  • No rush, I can just use the stay one in the meantime.

  • Then you would love how I got that mudguard to work, Dremel and zip ties FTW!

  • I basically don't take enough pictures of my bikes, light from front here.

  • GMC? I am gutted to miss it :(

Does the bar mount have 2 sides as shown in the product image or just one?

  • Anyone got one of these,

Cable and plug to fit an Axa Pico light?

I picked up one of these lights 2nd hand and someone has, rather unhelpfully, chopped the wires to the rear light off right at the plug.

It's gonna cost me like £15 to get a new one from Germany or Holland which is a bum.

  • GMC, but not the calender did it as a DIY in May so I could help out on the ride.

Two so it sits centrally over the stem, if you use a Garmin mount you need to offset that slightly as if you mount that centrally you can't really get the angle right for the light.

    This is what I feared.

    With Ludwig?

  • My mudguard (when I can be bothered to fit it) is held on with a combination of Scherrit-machined nuts after the original alu ones crumbled and zipties after the upper mount bracket failed.

  • Just on my own, took a Friday off work as I had a bit of lieu time built up.

  • This is what I feared.

    You can follow me?

  • I seem to remember it's a standard Molex connector, so could do it DIY for cheaps? Could either buy the whole connector, or just some crimp ends and replace the out cables?

  • I have a B&M IQ Cyo T Premium Senso+ (mouthful...) going if you want?

  • B&M IQ Cyo T Premium Senso+

I'll take this, been looking for one

  • Dropped you a PM

  • @amey

You consider edelux front with secular rear? Doesn't have such a sizeable handlebar bracket and probably could be inverted under the bars (mount that is, not light)

Alternatively a rubberised P Clamp to hold the E3 rear light to the stay?

  • Which brings me to my next question, will Secula work with ANY front light? Supernova E3? That has the best bar mount IMO.
