My kidney specialist nurse cousin says, 'No matter how much you shake your peg, you'll always dribble down your leg'. Get used to it.

I've never been able to find one in the shops.
In other news, yesterday I tried to put a teabag into the dishwasher instead of a dishwasher tablet

Am in Bath today (taken dad to hospital). Bath city is beyond middle aged. 2 buskers, one performing the Charleston, the other an opera singer
I was in Wells yesterday, and as a man in his mid 50's, I felt like a youngster.
I also noted the idiosyncratic nature of the local buskers.

I actually really like Wells. It is a bit geriatric but a very attractive place. This is despite once spraining my ankle falling in one of those roadside sluices.
Bath on the other hand is probably the world capital of red trousers.

Was just getting ready for my bed time nightcap and discovered someone (most likely me) hadn't put the top back on properly, and my Horlicks powder is now one solid lump.
We don't have an old age thread that I can find.

I find myself fighting the urge to clasp my hands behind my back whilst strolling....and looking with faux-interest into shop windows.

Walking with your hands behind your back displays your superiority and manliness for all to see and is to be applauded.

I was 48 on Tuesday....broke my toe whilst inadvertently kicking a wall on the way to the bathroom.
Put my back out yesterday, getting my dog's ball from under the couch. Is this all I have to look forward to?

Both of my young daughters (2 and 4yrs) went through a stage of walking around with their hands behind their backs...
