If it's all bumpy as shit like @Black_Rainbow_Project sez I'm thinking of taking the 18kg dual sus monster and going full-on social pace. Especially if the rain persists as the only knobblies I have are very knobbly indeed.

I had a set of those forks on my Brooklyn race link! :)
I modified them after a while down to ten inches of travel and put them on my brooklyn big link where they stayed until the whole bike got nicked! :(
