My wheels are the Achilles heel really, but I have my reasons for not going with carbon tub rims.
On the other hand, if someone were to lend me some insane-o light wheels I'd race them. I'd even promise not to use my brakes.

I'm selling some Tune Mig/Mag hubs in 24/24 if you're interested.
Currently laced to PMP rims but not a mega light built (would guess 1420g). Would go much lighter with different spokes and nips.

It's because you didn't use a valve collar

Clinchers heavier than my alloy rims. The builder is replacing the rim though, with washers to avoid the same fate.

out of interest do those Sworks crank use the same spline pattern for the spiders as the hollowgrams? could they be interchanged?

Don't think so. I was looking at direct mount chainrings and they're different.

Turns out the Kingston Wheelers HC on Leith Hill is on the same day as the Urban Hill Climb on Swains Lane. Leith finishes around 1pm, if we're off late for the UHC we could do both... up for a mission @umop3pisdn?

I'm not even sure I'll do 2 hillclimbs this season, let alone in the same day!

Anyone got a car they'd lend me?

It'd be quicker by train. It's an hour from Dorking to Waterloo.

Train back from Dorking to Waterloo might be similar in time / agony considering Saturday traffic
Hah Andy beat me to it

I've been looking into the exact same thing for a build I'm doing. I've been looking at narrow wide. Garbaruk do an S works specific one and so do Wolftooth I think. I also read a thread suggesting a guy got a regular SRAM GXP direct mount chainring to fit.

Wow, about 560g for the wheelset? That must be pushing some kind of record. Lightest prebuilts I found with a quick search were about 750g, with steel spokes. And even the ones on this 2.7kg bike (https://www.redbull.com/gb-en/check-out-the-worlds-lightest-custom-road-bike) are 580g.
