First bleed? What brakes? Mine worked from initial setup, once I worked out how to set them up. I don't like to touch stuff that's working unless it's something that wears out.
It's a 4000k race. Unless you have almost new cassette and chain it'll be past its 'totes fucked' wear point before race ends.

Brakes definitely need it. Still on the first bleed and they definitely need it. No batteries on my bike, but hubs and pedals a good shout. Would you put new chain and cassette on it? I have new tires but I'll be fitting them a few days before I go.
