My Douze v2 has arrived!

Basically full new rear end, including a new MPF drive.
They also gave me a weatherproof cover and restarted the 12 months warranty.

Time will tell if this one last longer...

Has anyone ordered a clydesdale cargo fork from crust bikes to the uk? I was wondering just how much you need to pay in everything else

Hackney Cycling Campaign are looking to run a cargo bike competition next weekend as an add on to the Cycling and Walking Festival next weekend at Finsbury Park...probably more family than furious #messlife action but hopefully be a chance to those with cargo bikes to get out and about

Thanks to everyone who made it down to Finsbury Park today...we had some great fun and hope you did to. We were more than happy with it and hoping to build on it next year

Cycled down the parkland walk then went left and over to the greenlanes rather than right so missed it. Not a bad pic of Ruth-Anna will mention to take it for the HOP stuff.

I extended my DIY cargo machine yesterday. Still satisfactory handling which was lucky as the cargo was priceless.

I've just picked up one of the early Bullitt cargo bikes from a friend. It's currently equipped with a SRAM 7-speed hub with a coaster brake that I'd like to swap out.

The frame doesn't have an option for a front derailleur, so I'm think of going down the 1x10 route. I'm looking at doing a Shimano Deore build, but I'm a little bit at a loss on sensible options for the chainset.

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated!

Alfine or Zee for the chainset depending on your desired tooth count .

My local Homebase in East Acton is offering the free use of Cargo cycles.
24 hours for nothing. Just a £50 deposit that gets returned on return of the cycle.
Used this offer to do a big local shop and bought more polish beer than I can usually carry ftw

What a great idea. I hope we see much more of this.

The skips in our municipality (in Denmark) offer a cargo bike for free for 4 hours, so you can get rid of your rubbish.
I haven't had anything I couldn't take on my front rack yet, but I'm guessing it's a matter of time.

@MisterMikkel someone should take a picture of the "pimped-up" Christiania they have in Bauhaus Valby.
