This bike is beautiful! Have you weighed it?

Saw this roll past as I was coming out my house today. Looks rad AF

So, two weeks in and other than some weird wheel/light niggles that are no fault of Matt's, this is everything I had hoped it would be and more. For those that care, here's a build list:
Talbot Frameworks TIG 853/MAX Frame.
Parlee Gravel Flat Mount Fork
Fizik R1 Alloy Stem
Fizik R3 Alloy Chameleon Bars
Fizik R3 Alloy Seatpost
Hope Seat Post Clamp
Brooks C15 Carved
32h HED Belgium+ Disc Rims
Front 32h Schmidt SON Delux 12 Thru Axle CentreLock Dynamo Hub
Rear 32h CentreLock Hope Pro 4
Shimano ST-R785 Shifters
Shimano BR-RS805 Flat Mount Calipers
Shimano SM-RT99 Rotors
Shimano 6870 derailleurs
Shimano 6800 Cranks/Chain/Cassette
Shimano 105 Pedals
PDW Black City Mudguards
Schmidt SON Edelux II Light Black
Schmidt SON Rear Light Black/ClearOnly thing I may change is the handlebars, purely on a fit basis. The fit data @scherrit drew up for me was with bars that were 10mm shorter in reach than these, so it is perhaps a tiny bit longer than I'd like. The length of ST-R785's is not helping matters either. Unfortunately Fizik don't make 75mm reach bars, so I may have to swap out all of the finishing kit.. cause obvs it has to all match. The bike in general is mega comfy, but also very stiff when you want it to be and is also fast.
Thanks again @coldharbour - couldn't be better.

Now that you've had some time to ride it, how are the light mounts on the mudguards holding up? Not rattling or moving around?
-
• #331
Well, the rear one is built into the light itself, you just have to drill a hole in the mudguard. So that ones solid as a rock.
The front mount is solid as a rock too. It's really well made. Any movement of the light is caused by the very, very slightly flex of the mudguard when going over bumps. But to be honest, there's really hardly any movement. The light issue I had mentioned was one of the spade connectors disconnecting itself - but think we've fixed that now.

Sorry if it is up thread, but why did you pick the parlee fork over the enve equivalent?
-
• #333
There isn't an Enve equivalent. /pedant
-
• #334
Was a serious question. I assume your answer is connected to a combo of rake, axle to crown, eyelets and clearance. Just interested to know what exactly.
-
• #335
But seriously there's not. Enve don't make a thru axle, flat mount, mudguard mount equipped fork with internal hose routing. There's only a few and IMO this is the best looking.
I think TRP and Whisky are the only other people that make them and they may be post mount. The Whisky is widely unavailable and the TRP has curved legs and I wanted straight.Enve make a fork with external hose routing and a stupid proprietary mudguard with shite coverage.

I realise there are others from the likes of Niner and the Rodeo Labs Spork but they ugly AF and have mounts all over them that I don't need.
-
• #337
I read mudguard as the main reason there, which makes sense.
-
• #338
niner
ugly AF
respectfully disagree - although your parlee is rather nice.
-
• #339
Think it's ugly as sin. Respectfully. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
-
• #340
Parlee is easily nicest of those forks - Niner forks are boog.

Ride that bike if it fitted me

Why not just a shorter stem? Or would that look too choady?
-
• #346
Totally tasty.
It's been a hell of a journey, fingers crossed he/she's the one.
-
• #347
So, if I get a shorter stem my knees will be too close to the tops of my bars when out of the saddle and whilst sitting on my top tube. I don't want the bars to be any closer, just the hoods themselves.
-
• #348
Makes sense. Maybe some nice stealth Zipp kit?
Also, sweet bike
-
• #349
Those hoods and neo classic make nice interface

Thanks.
Yes some SL70s look to be just the ticket. Would decrease hood distance by 15mm which is perfecto.
Only in the belly area...
