Legend, will PM you. Some more details in case anyone else can help.
First year economics student at Sheffield Uni, looking to enjoy work when i graduate and not just work at a bank and hate my job (though I may do this and it could be enjoyable). Strong academic background, huge interest in beer and have worked at a pub since I was 17. I do some buying for them in Sheffield and other bits. It's hard to convey my enthusiasm/experience here. I want to use my 3/4 month summer productively, so I'm looking to help out a brewery or do something in the industry. If anyone has any ideas please get at me. I've spoken to some small breweries but it's not the type of thing they do.
Cheers

Went to drink? in Hebden Bridge today. Decent bottle shop/bar. Nothing hugely exciting but a decent range and a format I'm surprised hasn't taken off more in London.
The Flat White Breakfast stout was an interesting one, definitely grew on me throughout drinking.

Come over to Leeds. Loads of great pubs, Northern Monk and North Bar a must.
Or Wakefield and pop into Magic Rock!

Cloudwater. Make apple pie great again.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
I thought it was amazing, not something I would normally go for either.

Thanks for the heads up. That's certainly tempting. I went to the Jolly Pumpkin pub in Ann Arbor last year with the intention of trying various things. I just had glass after glass of Bam Biere. I love that beer so much. I didn't have anything else all night.
So there's a good chance I will be there tonight, just smashing Bam Biere...

Buxton / Omni Ice Cream Pale is very good, nice vanilla flavours. Could've easily been awful glad I took a punt on it.

Also went to Calan's Micropub which was pretty cool https://whatpub.com/pubs/HAL/10000/calans-micropub-hebden-bridge

There's a few bar/bottle shops in London. The Bottle Shop, Hop Burns & Black, Water into Beer, Ghost Whale and The Beer Shop to name a few.
Went to the Bottle Shop on Friday, Paradise by Prairie is incredible

I've been to Bottle Shop and Mother Kelly's but there's not much north of the river that I've seen. Clapton Craft is part way there but only really seem to have drinking in the shop for special events.

It's UHC day. Cans of Human Cannonball and UHC arrived this afternoon. Just warming up with a Tap Type APA
Think I preferred HC to UHC last year so looking forward to comparing the two

Thats not very Punk is it.
More Belgian randomness in Lidl; Corsendonk Abbey Brown, Petrus Dubbel Bruin and Bocq Gauloise Amber or Blonde all in 4 packs. Tried the Petrus Dubbel and wouldn't buy again but the Corsendonk seems to have much better reviews.
