Which Tyres?

Best 28x700 tyre for commuting/light touring, for under £15 per tyre? Aesthetics don't matter on this occasion.

Rubino G+ ?

I used to pay around that for Rubino Pro and there's a 28 version. But times have changed.

Compass, Pasela, Maxxis and Schwalbe all make those

Looking for a pair of all round (speed and puncture protection etc..) tan 28mm tyres, what is the latest of forum approved? Budget <£50 a pair.

I've got a pair of twin rails you can have for £20. Done less than 50 miles

Don't know about the essentials, but the road race and prime armour tyres are made by Chaoyang Tyres.

@Heldring thanks guys, will have a look, saw shwalbes on crc, panaracers website is not mobile friendly when it comes to actually looking a tyre specs available so I gave up.

@funky_d I may well take you up on that offer, what width are they? I dont have the frame or wheels yet and so would need to check clearance but i'll be in touch shortly!

What's the groupthink on something for some touring / bikepacking? Might end up on some unsurfaced roads / bridlepaths but majority on tarmac; was thinking of the Schwalbe S-One or G-One but not sure (I would like to go tubeless). Any other tyres to consider?

As an aside, I also have a pair of unused (never mounted) gravelking 32s which I need to sell, only getting rid because I want to go tubeless and I don't think they are tubeless compatible; let me know if anyone would want them...

S-One is now known as G-One Speed. Good tyre for gravel. Run it at 45-55 PSI for max funs.

G-One goes up to 40mm, I think?

Clement Strada LGG, probably not as plush as Corsa G+, but good value. I think ChainReaction have them in stock in 28mm.
