The Glucose Network is making a documentary on this race. Should be good

Kristof and has just passed the 1/3 mark so plenty of racing still to go. I tried putting it into TCR perspective and by this point Kristof was about 20% further than anyone else where as he's less than 10% ahead of Mike.
Mike was 147km behind when I left it last night but is now at 120km. Since both of their last rests, Mike has sped up relatively and is now averaging 24.4km/h compared to Kristof's 21.3km/h. I'm predicting it is going to get pretty close tonight once Kristof stops for some sleep.
Meanwhile behind them the Dunne and Hunter duo are about 50km behind him and have maintained that for a while now. They're on a little less sleep that him at the moment
Sarah Hammond slightly behind them 56km with a little more sleep in the bag (around 5 hours it looks)
@frank9755 is currently sitting in 13th position who is currently still going having not stopped for 36 hours! He's 120km away from Eucla which I believe has a motel.
Nice video, made me chuckle: https://www.facebook.com/IndianPacificWheelRace/videos/405449113163812/

Kristof has never raced anyone of Mikes calibre.
But then again, we know from Russia race, K can go long.
It's a long race, with some lumps to come. It's far from being settled.

• #231
Except you :P
Personally I think it's gonna come down to the last 72/48 hours and basically who doesn't sleep
-
• #233
Nah, we've not raced yet.
We will.

He doesn't even look tired, and given how many calories he's burning, how is 3 chocolate bars, 2 magnums and a powerade enough!?
-
• #235
Good to see his diet is as bad as mine.
All the chocolate and some icecreams for good measure.
-
• #236
He looks fine. Not tired, but fine. I'm in awe.
-
• #237
He always looks good, poker face.
But he'll still feel good, it's only few days in and he's been sleeping.

• #238
Triple drives by in the background.
Ah, home. :)
-
• #239
He's had Oz soften him up. Now you finish the job.
-
• #240
Looks like Kristoff just had a good five hours plus off the bike, must of smashed some more magnums
Sebs putting some distance into Adam as well

Wake up and two more scratches Donncha Cutriss who had pulled into third over night and the italian lady Juju who had an allergic reaction
Got Frank and Mike Sheldrake with in 50km of each other for second fastest Brit after Mike

• #242
Looks like Mike Hall has closed up some of the gap to Kristof but at the cost of not sleeping.
-
• #243
He'll have to have a 5+ hours to compensate at some point no?
-
• #244
I think its a little more balance than that as the previous stop Mike took six hours and Kristoff only 2ish but looks like Kristoff has managed much more evenly spread stops and overall had a little more rest looking at the graph
-
• #245
Do you know the reason Donncha Cuttiss scratched?
-
• #248
Yep. Shit be remote.
Maybe he was totally fucked and flagged down a car for help thereby scratching himself from the race or he got to a town and realised he couldn't continue. I'm not sure where he was when he scratched though.

I'm sure one of the lorry drivers would help
