Nice!
Have you thought of full-fenders? They really make a difference!

I am considering them, but at the same time I bought some WTB nano 40c I am going to fit for the next two weekend rides.. full mudguards would be one more thing to remove in swapping the setups..

Planet Bike 29er fenders will fit in there with 40c Nanos :]

Had my Straggler nearly a year. So much fun to ride. I wasn't sure about the minty green colour until I saw it in the flesh.

Should. I installed a set on a customers bike that was running the stock Knards which are a tiny bit wider than the Nanos.

Seems like a good place to dump this and show off a little bit about the best bike ive ever had...

I was unsure about the green, so I got a black one. Regretted it ever since :-)

Trying to decide on front rack solution.. It would be for touring rather than commuting.
I am keen to have a flat surface for tent + panniers (maybe small ones)
Things I like:
Surly 2.0 front rack. Pros, looks great, perfect fit, brand match. Cons, heavy and rather expensive
Blackburn outpost front rack. Pros, good looking, sturdy, cheap. Cons, rather high panniers position.
Things I like less:
Any combination of low riders and pizza rack.. although I quite like something like @moog setup here

My Cross-check / Straggler combo. I've had it just over a year and love it. Don't think I've posted it here before.
Sturmey Archer 3 speed fixed hub, Cross-check frame, Straggler fork, Minoura Porteur front rack, Tubus Tara rear.

Does anyone have any tips for Surly decal removal? I'm trying to make my straggler a little lighter on the branding and they're a pain in the saddle to get off. Best thing seems to be my fingernail, but they're so thin they just come off in tiny shards, about 30% of which end up stuck into my nail bed.

This is amazing.

1 year of washing my cross check weekly has removed all of its decals. Not much help, sorry

Ah! That sounds plausible - I'll give it a go, cheers

Really good bike, I've toyed with the idea of running mine fixed and this is convincing.

I like it, but there is definitely some 'play' in the hub, akin to riding with a fairly slack chain. You're more than welcome to have a go on it if you'd like to try it, assuming you're in London...

Or perhaps you weren't meaning multi-speed fixed...in which case...as you were...
what saddle is on the pacer?
