Do you have any samples images of yours?
Yeah. These were shot on Poundland Agfavista 200 and scanned by a lab on a Frontier.

The camera is ok. The viewfinder is wonderful (Leica-good) and it's heavy, solid and small ... but it's a bit noisy. The meter gets confused by light falling across the camera, and the lens does flare.
I bought mine for £12 and keep it because it's such a freak, but I don't think I'll shoot it much.

Any recommendations for where I can get a batch of B/W film developed for not too much money? Some pushing/pulling involved - ambivalent re scans/prints/contact sheets, looking for the cheapest way to see what's on the rolls without needing a light box.
Thanks!

The cheapest way where someone else less cackhanded than me does it, I should have specified :)
I've thought about doing it myself but a) there's a lot of rolls and b) I don't have anywhere that could work as a darkroom, which means using a bag, which brings 'a) there's a lot of rolls' back into play.

Places I use it's ~ £5 a roll for dev only, posted-out. I don't consider that a great deal but let me know if you want deets.

I'm interested... thanks! Of course if anyone knows of anything better, it could be useful to others on the thread... I guess sending a bunch of films to a shop is going to help them stay open and all that.

I've had BW processed with;
the-darkroom.co.uk (Cheltenham. Really high quality and service, and not expensive for BW)
spectrumphotolabs.co.uk (Plymouth)
ag-photographic.co.uk (Birmingham)
snapsphotoservices.com (South coast somewhere ... I think they outsource BW because turn-around is weeks)There is a list of labs on p1. It'd be interesting to hear if you do find anyone particularly good for batch BW.

DIY red scale film.
..and yes, it's trees in the background.
This is shot in bright daylight actually, just severely underexposed (on purpose)..

Hi all, I'm after a nice compact to replace my Olympus Trip. I'm looking at Mju II (too expensive now) or the Fuji Klasse (too rare).
Has anyone got any other recommendations (or cameras for sale)? it has to be auto focus as my eyes aren't great. -

Just read up about that. Looks cool, I will try.

We discussed redscale in this thread about a month ago, if it isn't obvious to you already I suggest you take a look here or check the whole guide at lomography.com here if you plan to make your own redscale film.
You can also buy reverse-rolled film, but it's pricey / not woth it since it's pretty straight forward to do yourself with ordinary cheap film.
Should tell the lab there's a piece of tape in there so it doesn't fuck up their machine; my lab says it's no problem for them though.Good luck & have fun!

What is your shooting style like, and how much are you willing to spend?
-
• #13248
mainly portraits of friends and family really. In terms of money; up to £100.

Pentax ESPIO mini

So small by the way ! The ratio price / quality is amazing... ;)
I love the convenience of 35mm film while travelling with my bike ( I'll use it mainly for Bikepacking trips). Seems to be fairly good even though I have absolutely no ideas of how to "zone focus" properly.
