Put some real shitty bits and bobs on it and call it "Clash"

I know, I know... I putted it on yesterday evening, tried not to forget to shorten it today but did forget and cutted the inner cable. Will change it when I give the bike it's first service...

It's already clashed a fair bit ... Dura Ace with Campag with 105 with SRAM ... ISO cranks on JIS BB ... not really "shitty bits 'n' bobs" though, just what I had lying around my garage mainly.

Bike looks good though. Black bar tape to really finish it off? What are the sizes of those rings?
-
• #112306
Indeed, black bartape it will be. I didn't put it on because he first wants to adjust levers and bars to his favourite position. Rings are 52-36.

Nice catch!! You should avoid Correo Argentino if you have a short deadline, but I think you already know that.. ;)
ps: Did you get in touch with some of the guys from AFG? They may be able to give you better ideas for getting it on time than me..

@jambon - yeah.. was in doubt wether to go modern or old school but i got in touch with the guy before i wrote you.. negotiations took ages tho and it seemed it would go south almost all the way. anyways, you can sell yours complete and let the people with the funkier ideas do their thing :) (would've just polished it up and put black cdale logos on it before ratting it down.. the one i bought is already a rat :)
@Agustin - i was thinking of getting it to brazil in a super secure package and going with 'encomienda de micro' to rio.. i have someone who can hold it till i get there but not sure about brazilian bus companies' package services

still don't see it...
The time this Cannondale was new, nobody was still riding cage pedals, no? But I like the Suntour pedals.

Just ''finished it'' and took a little ride. Gotta fix the rear wheel (didn't have enough spacers) and adjust the brakes a bit. Also gotta get a new rear cog, chain and chainring and wider bars when i decide i want to spend some more money on it. Anybody knows of a not too expensive 104 bcd singlespeed chainring? Or can i also use a narrow wide one? So far it has been a pretty fun ride.
