You mean Klopp distracts the press from the fact that his new goalkeeper is as shit as his old goalkeeper by attacking tv pundits, no?
-
• #132578
Klopp's become scouse in excelsis in the past week. First, the rant that Bournemouth's 'lads, why don't we take some shots at the dodgy keeper' tactic is the most disgusting thing that's ever happened in football, now whingeing that anyone who criticises his dodgy keeper shouldn't be allowed on the telly. Originally thought he was too much of a magnanimous nice-guy for L'pool, but he's learned his history and fitted right in. Impressive.

Our GK is woeful that is true and he and our defence combined will cost us a top four slot. But it's nice to lay it to the horrible cunts
-
• #132580
he was fine according to the press until they got on his back two weeks ago
i'm calling it out as fake news as the press try to derail our attempt at the title next seasondmitri payets freekick would have gotten all the plaudits 2 weeks ago, just as they did everytime he scored with a freekick last season, now the media make it about karius not saving it
-
• #132581
You could almost call it a media conspiracy...
-
• #132582
The free kick was excellent and would have beaten most but our keeper just does not fill me with confidence. He looks shaky and error prone in any given situation unlike the Arsenal, United and Chelsea keepers. It's no coincidence that City's new keeper is also a pile of wank and they are conceding left right and centre
-
• #132583
stop reading the papers opinion, you are quoting them verbatum just like corny, up until bournemouth he looked great, read the liverpool forum threads about karius
the media just want joe hart back in the premiership and seem to be signing him on behalf of liverpool as we speak
he'll bring more errors than karius and the press know it they'll get even more column inches, job done
he's a young keeper and will prosper unless he can't take the mental pressure -
• #132584
klopps style isn't about keeping clean sheets ( no, not in that sense )
we should expect to concede a few goals, and it may expose karius and our defence at times making them easy to criticise, hopefully he can remedy that with a bit of cash spent on the defence in the coming transfer windows
we didn't have matip at bournemouth and that was a big loss, he does look superb -

So you're saying Neville and Carragher were right then?
-
• #132586
Ten games played, 12 goals conceded and three clean sheets.
I don't need Neville to tell me that those stats aren't great for a GK.
When was the last time a team won the league by conceding >45 goals?

• #132587
I can smell damp mattress...
-
• #132588
Of course they are right. But the Nevilles are still utter cunts
-
• #132589
Its like Fungus the Bogeyman
-
• #132590
we are the top scorers in the division as it stands
two more transfer windows and we will have a stronger back line
my mattress is perfectly dry and enjoying the ride thankyou very much ! -

Matip, Clyne, Lovren, Klavan, Moreno, Sakho, Ilori, Gomez have all been signed quite recently. Some of these for a fair amount of money.
If you don't coach defenders than don't expect them to perform.

What I'm saying is that Liverpool are a better version of Everton under Martinez.
Great going forward but shit when not in control of the ball. -
• #132593
I rather like Gary Neville. I was surprised to find myself liking him as I was all set to disagree with everything he said. Maybe it was his commentary of that game in Barcelona in 2012 that changed my view.
I am also finding myself agreeing with Gary Linekar more often.
Is it my age? Am I becoming more agreeable?
-
• #132594
Matip is good as is Clyne. Gomez was doing very well until injured. The rest look like they are on drugs and probably are
-
• #132595
Agreed on Matip, Clyne is decent but not sure he's the type of player that gets you to the "next level".
Have not seen enough of Gomez but the talent seems to be there.
-
• #132596
sahko is persona non grata at liverpool so we can count him out, a shame as i really liked him
illori came in under benitez and hasn't really shone, each manager thinks they can do something with him and hang on to him but eventually give up - he'll be gone soon
ragnar is a good 4th 5th choice,
gomez will be back fully fit start of next season, he'll challenge for lovren for a starting position hopefully
we'll buy a left back, millie's engine back in midfield will be good and add depth

Get yourself along to a John Bishop gig, that'll give you your answer.
-
• #132598
Not that agreeable - or that old
-
• #132599
Someone once told me that in some quarters, John Bishop is considered a comedian. Not sure how.

• #132600
don't go there
Klopp hands it to the Neville Cocks. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/38294601
Every time one of those knobs open their mouths I switch off, much like for Mourinho..
