Mine, in the end turned out to be a bit more low tech. It needed a new Dizzy cap and rotor.
I sold it before I found out what was causing the engine to turn off when idling.
The wiring issue I thought only affected the M104 2.8 and 3.2 but the 4 cyl is related, so it could be that. I guess 4 cyls run cooler so it's not as common.

TBH I probably would too...
Today the spare tyre that installed when I punctured on Tuesday also punctured.
Didn't have a spare and not a chance of borrowing one due to stupid French bolt patters. Currently waiting in Bracknell for recovery :/

Oh man, after all that faff... gutting
So far most of the resources I've found that says 'all' engines 92-98 are alla american, and as far as I can tell, the w124 with the m111 never made it over. A few c-models did though, with the same engine, so they might be right...

Was talking to a friend about this a while ago, some boomers who bought their fantasy muscle cars in the last couple of decades are finding they can't get what they paid for them now that they wanna cash them in for a boat or a Winnebago... Hard cheese, Cobber...

I could be wrong but if you're having trouble fitting in the AX, the Imp (as nice as they are) could be a struggle.

Yep, aussie muscle cars definitely dropping in value. Saw an auction with a falcon gtho guide price of $400,000. Previously sold for over a million. Now hopefully the house price bubble bursts like that.
