evening. I want to build 2 spare wheels for cx racing, the bikes are running shimano 10 speed. The best value rear hub i'm thinking is a shimano 105 10 speed at £30 each. The plan is to build with Kinlin XR22T rims and sapin race spokes. Total for the 2 wheels will be around £185, can you do better. I would have preferred a lower spoke count but can not find an appropriate rear hub

£216 gets you two DT R24s
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mobile/dt-swiss-r24-spline-rear-road-wheel/rp-prod151282That's cheaper than upping the hubs from 105 to Ultegra 6700 to get the lower spoke count, even if you can find the hubs.

I don't need a kinesis wheelset but would like a rim like this for my Dynamo.

Don't think so.

Don't think it is.
That one isn't 'tubeless ready'; it's just a regular rim. It's also 1mm wider at the brake track than those used by Kinesis, and it has a glossy anodised finish, not a matte one. -

Thank you but both seem to be right :-/

Which rim is this please?
It's the one Kinesis either made or sourced for their factory built wheels. Even if they got it from one of the rim specialists like Alex, Kinlin, Weinmann or Rodi, it won't necessarily be the same as any of the rims those companies release into the retail channel. If Kinesis made it themselves, or had it made to their spec by a nameless metalworking subcontractor in China, there's no chance that you'll ever see it as a standalone retail product.

looks very similar to Kinlin xr22t - which is tubeless ready, 24 outer width, 19mm internal , at roughly 450g . Great rims, would ride.

Um... £1050... each...

Should I just stick with my £50-100 Kinlin, DT, Velocity rims or burn the money? How much time per day will these rims save over 32h DT Swiss 511dbs? £3000 wheelset buys a lot of pancakes...

Give the money to me and I'll burn it for you

Where's the fun in that for me? Are you going to dance for me?

Yep. Very good. I've got three pairs of their rims, one road and two MTB, and they're good.
350 are better reviewed and easier to replace parts for, novatecs are lighter. On the whole 350 are seen as a better hub
