You can't really buy a big monitor, just buy a TV and don't use it as a TV.

If you're using an AV receiver then you can ignore sound (generally the flatter the crapper speakers) and that will also deal with switching all your inputs. Plug everything into the AV receiver and one cable goes from the receiver to the TV.

Most out of the box colour profiles are set up for brightly lit shops so are a bit crap. You can either set them up yourself, google to find a decent one or some have some decent ones hidden away (the THX profile on mine is decent for instance).

Panasonic are a decent brand. 4k is a bit unnecessary at the moment but it doesn't necessarily cost that much extra and it does seem to be getting more popular. It wouldn't be a make or break but it's a nice bonus.

Yeah, that's always the concern with projectors.

It looks like it's only 100 lumens so can't see it being too great in anything but a darkened room unless they're doing something revolutionary.

Don't buy a projector unless you can control the light entering the room or can wait for darkness. Also they work best with a proper screen (for various reasons white walls aren't actually very good to project onto)
Projectors are amazing, but only if you do it properly.

As for TVs head over to avforums and read their reviews, they will tell you what is decent and what can be easily calibrated (and usually give starting settings to get you going)

A friend had an enormous wall (about 9 metres wide by 5 high) that he projects on and it looks incredible - he's a proper AV head with several fancy projectors plus screens etc that he puts on mobile film screenings with. Still 9 times out of 10 he uses the wall - I guess because of the size (9 times out of 10 he's also screening wrestling but...)

Any suggestions for overshoes - velcro only, no zip, open backs and not too thick. My trusty Alturas have given up after years of service and don't seem to do a replacement. I can't be arsed with levering on stupidly close fitting overshoes at work.

Really odd issue here, one I've not seen before.

Office internet is throwing a DNS error for the website I'm meant to be updating. Thought it might have been the DDoS attack on Friday, but still getting it now. Can connect from home internet, and on my phone, and the hosting company have said its fine their end.

Have reset the router to no avail. No idea what to do after that, can't even think what the problem might be?

The TV will be £900 with all original accessories / manuals etc, including the awesome hanging wall mount which leaves it flat against the wall.
