  • Cheers. Incase anyone finds there way here with a similar query, it seems like a 9/16 x 10tpi is UNF so Gsport bolts = 9/16" UNF.

  • Think I'ma try 4 pegs, soon as I convince myself I'm willing to part with some dosh.

  • If your after a BMX I no longer use mine due to having no BMX friends in London and discovering the joys of 26" FGFS. Built up over my years of working at Alans BMX its a Skavenger Bridge 20.5 tt, you'll be hard pushed to find 20.0 frames these days. Just sitting taking up space in my room atm and needs to get ridden!

  • Nice, how much do you want for it? PM me if you want?

  • Side note I used to love Alans BMX, bought so many parts from there when I was a student in Liverpool

  • i used to have loads of the variations on the ALANS stickers, i still have a union jack one that i'm to scared to waste

Here's a link to my previous listing, I named it wrong accidentally. Im after £750 ONO, the frame has hardly been ridden and everything is in pretty pristine condition as I moved to London 3 months after buying it and have ridden about 6 times since living here unfortunately.

  • Also Alans was so fun to work in and Alan still runs it, fully enjoyed my time there and even got the PieRats logo tattooed on my arm. It's also the oldest BMX and Skate shop in the UK and 35 years old in 2016

  • That is so nice, but about triple my budget at the moment!

  • Dunno why I never thought to ask this here before, I have a freecoaster wheel (Cult lhd hub a brakeless Eclat rim) but I prefer riding freewheel so I'm looking for a swap with a cassette hub of similar quality/condition (I've barely used the coaster. It's pretty much mint). I'd be up for swapping whole wheels or I can pull the hub out the rim and just swap hubs. Let me know what you've got.

  • Actually, nevermind. I'm gonna try riding the freecoaster again.

  • Saw this on a local facebork group so grabbed it for the Mrs.

It's hi-ten rather than cromo so weighs a bit but it's got internal headset, mid bb and half decent finishing kit so not bad for £50. It's also mint condtion, like I suspect it's been ridden once or twice and that's it.

Might use it myself at the racetrack to save fitting a brake a removing pegs from my own bike but it is a 20" toptube so a bit short.

  • Mt friend Matt made this as his first welding project ...

  • Hi, I need some help regarding a seatpost. I got a frame which come with a Shimano DX seatpost. I've roughly measured it to be around 22mm, looking online it's probably 22.2mm which I believe is retro box size? I basically need a longer post and was hoping someone could point me in the direction of something nice/good looking. I will be selling the Shimano post and would be happy to make a trade for the post I need

  • I think you're unlikely to find anything with an integrated clamp in that size, so something nice/good looking will be difficult

  • I've replaced my 20.5" Fit S1 with a 21" Fit Hawk.

Brazed on a wee headtube badge I made and got it powdercoated. Out yesterday, oh and back to a coaster too,

  • Anyone got some 19mm 3 piece cranks going? Preferably black

  • How the bobs holdin?

  • They've been great Dakin, we've been out in the streets so much recently and as a result they're looking a bit ratty (not that that's a bad thing!) but they're holding strong.
There's just something about that geometry that feels right, I'll have to stockpile the Skapegoat/Make bars for the future!

Have you had much of a chance to take your bmx out?

  • Can I borrows ur BMX sometime? Miss mine

  • Sadly not man.
New park has popped up round the corner from where I'm at so need to go roll around.
For real I need some of them g.
    @timbre anytime fam

  • The new one in Deptford? I had a play there the other month, it's pretty decent but some of the transitions are a bit weird. I imagine it's going to be a nightmare when it's busy, the design almost encourages you to hit it all in a line.

  • My 26er bmx. Bb17 charmer with 120 profile hub, profile spline drives, cruiser slam bars.. so much fun
