Have a word with @Si46 in regards to the stem, he might be able to help you out. The mega chromix is a good stem and look much better in the flesh than in pics.
Right the gumwalls are on and looking sharp, pics to follow. Been struggling with the cockpit from both an aesthetic and ergonomic point of view. After an age of yearning for it, I've discovered I'm not a huge fan of Jags with risers, on this frame at least. So I've decided to have a punt on this 3TT Mega Chromix, thinking the shape will compliment the teardrop downtube, and some Easton Monkey Lites.
And a word on the downtube: when did frame designs like this start coming in? It must have been just before Aluminium superseded steel as the main material to build bike frames out of, and frame shape looks to my eye like an early template of a lot of track frames to come. Anyone have a guess when this frame might have been built?
