i don't agree with the HE attendance monitoring thing either, but it's a a long way from needing to know where every schoolchild was born. The Tier 4 visa thing was the thin end of the wedge, it's in the past and we're currently hurtling towards something considerably uglier.

I genuinely thought the government wouldn't be so stupid, so evil, as to implement UKIP's dream of Brexit. Even with the vote to leave the EU, I thought we'd do the sensible thing and make compromises. I never, ever thought we'd have an elected(sort of) government 'sending them back where they came from'.
I never, in my darkest nightmares, thought that we'd be implementing fascist policies in my lifetime.

I think its politically stupid to move so right for conservatives, yes they have got all the UKIP votes now but what about longer term?
