How would that work?
-

Same spline design but the Campag tool is tapered, to fit their slightly smaller lockring & BB cup interface, and to make you spend money on their tool.
Although, nice that you can use the same tool for cassette and BB if you're all Campag.
@B0N0R nice idea if you have two Shimano cassette tools. -

If that stem is -17 degrees, it seems Dolan has kept the old geometry i.e. ~75 degree headtube :)
its strange that they cant make a correct geometry chart (or is that a size 60?)
-
• #3159
-17 is correct! The frame size are 58cm

So I got the Campa Centaur 111mm BB in the post today. And here you go, Sugino 75 mounted. I think this will do.

Woohoo!

Ordered a 60cm one with the old decals as the price was just right.
Still needs a non-silly front wheel for everyday riding(probably a matching Open Pro CD), a ZEN platter and nicer stem+post. -

Mocked up for a test ride.

Looks good just needs matching tires. And maybe bar tape...
-
• #3165
Rear wheel is borrowed, disc will have matching tyre and i need to build or find some wheels for street use. Picking up a white saddle tomorrow. Fitting longer stem and cutting steerer now.
Just came in from a 30k ride. So much fun! Didn't use the tri-spoke cause it's not glued yet.

Glad to hear it

Don't suppose anyone would be interested in anything but the forks? https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/292913/

Just ordered a 170crankset to my 56 pc, figured that thats a good crank length for my height. Noticed that in the Dolan Sizing guide they are suggesting a 165 for the 56 frame. Have anyone experienced any toe overlap that has been annoying?

Wavering on hitting buy on a gloss black FXE.
So to sum up chatter throughout the thread.
Mudguard and rack mounts. (yep want them)
2xbottle mounts. (yep want them)
Can take 28mm tyres, maybe larger. (want 28's shoehorning in some 30-32 cx tyres would be nice)
Current frame has steel inserted dropouts. (yep want that)
1 1/8" steerer. (want that, got a stack of mtb stems to play with)
Frame+fork+headset+seatpost+post clamp. (no real negative chatter on branded parts, good)Build up would be SS on square taper cranks with risers for commuting duties, possibly some nodder-esque hi-vis tape.
Been torn between a Steamroller (steel is real) but the FXE pisses all over the roller in value for money and mounts.
Only a short commute on potholed roads, i think i can live with the stiffness of an Alu track frame on biggish tyres :)
Have i forgotten anything ? -

White Arione, Thomson clamp (very important) a 110 3t stem. Still need to sort the disc and get a Thomson post. Also thinking of getting a crabon wheelset from Chyna.
Trispoke first ride https://www.instagram.com/p/BKjEZTBh69b/?taken-by=larsenroed
I rode it on the 10k road TT club champs. Was so much fun. Need to get my friends to start riding fixed again.
@Lukas Or a white Specialized decal :)
