To me he looked strongest yesterday out of the GC guys. Was expecting him to drop Froome over the last few 1000 meters. That puncture at the start of the race really sucked. The accident yesterday then sucked even more. He needs a bit of luck now.

True, it was a great ride. However, bunch climbing and Individual TTing are very different. A lot of GC hopes have died on a TT route.

Porte doesn't have much luck with punctures. I wonder what tyres BMC use.......... @hippy

poor fitting, none of the clever trips/mixed fabric of the rest of the Team Sky suits.

Given the difference between suits like the BioRacer and Castelli BP3 I could quite imagine that easily costing him >10w
