Has anyone left a specialized langster at skipton house? It's likely to be thrown away very soon.... -

I saw some nice, lightweight spd pedals mentioned somewhere, I know it's vague, but anyone have any ideas what they would be? Not Shimano A600

I have bought a second fork for my track bike, this time drilled, so I can use it for TTs.
I was hoping to get a crown race for it so I could swap the forks over more easily, but my LBS was not sure which one I would need and now haven't been in touch for a few days.
The current headset is an Alpina integrated 1-1/8", and I assume it is the 36/45 one as that is what is on most of the Dolan track bikes.
Is there anywhere in London I could pick up a compatible crown race, preferably today?

are the hubs on these wiggle cosine wheels Novatec D771SB/D772SB? Obviously not the through axle version but they look identical right?

A600 is pretty much the lightest you can go without compromising functionality, it work like a road pedals as it weighted to allow clip in at an angle.
You can get those Ritchey double sided spd pedals if you're willing to spend a lots of money just to save weight (£100+ for around 230g)
IMHO, stick with the cheap Shimano SPD, pedals weight make sweet fuck all difference.
Edit; by cheap, I mean those M540 pedals that's only about 40g heavier than the top of the range XTR.

I didn't read back.
Thanks for that. Hopefully I can get one somewhere tomorrow.

Yeah I had a browse around and it was the Ritchey ones I was thinking of. I think I will give the A600 a try.

Attached is photo of the weld between the top tube and head tube on my Lynskey. When I started this post I was going to ask what the collective brain thought, but I think I am just more and more convinced that it is a crack and needs sorting in some way. Bought it from Mosquito three years back, and they are no more. What do you think are my chances with the manufacturer?

The smaller capacity one can do Qualcomm Quick-Charge.
Edit: @hippy spotted it. The Qualcomm version is only for certain devices, but does work well. Both batteries can be charged themselves with the Qualcomm Quick-Charge though. Otherwise it's down to the devices to negotiate the charging current. Same way that some wall chargers can dole out ~2A (for tablets) but an old phone won't accept that much.
