I have a spare one, it's 161mm. Surface finish is a bit rough from rattling around in my tool roll, but functionally as new. Yours for £5

Probably this isn't tester approved:

What's the best value heat gun? I want something that is around that £ mark, likely seldom use after stripping a wardrobe of paint.
Must be good enough to melt little army men into a puddle, or it's no fun.

If you are going cheap you might as well go for screwfix http://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb284htg-2000w-heat-gun-230v/73867
Used two of them soldily for a week to strip all the wood in a house, worked fine.

What's the best value heat gun?
You can find the Black and Decker KX1650 for under £20. The modern version of mine is the KX2200 but that's obviously more than you want to spend, or need.

Thanks for info on length. It's a very fair offer but I'm unable to make a collection anytime soon so will decline.
-
• #76739
I'm on a terribly restrictive budget, but it does appear the KX2200 is a more comprehensive kit for the money. It is probably more powerful than I will need for my applications. Thanks. Must also factor in some gloves. I'd prefer the paint blisters, not my skin.
@Sam_w thanks for your suggestion.

Is it possible to increase the maximum volume of my phone....?
My nexus 6p doesn't get even near loud enough to be heard above traffic (when not riding) even with noise cancelling headphones.
Bloody EU 'elf and safety gone mad etc

Maybe try a different ROM such as Cyanogenmod

There's an HG992 in a charity shop in town, £8 boxed. Haven't checked condition but everything is at a minimum PAT tested. By the box graphics I'm guessing 90's.
EDIT: B&D website states last manufacture was 1984. Maybe 30 years is a little too far to stretch on this kind of device.
EDIT EDIT: Further reading, first I need to find a lead-paint test. Hadn't even considered the risk when I stripped back part of the old white paint by hand. Oops.

Can anyone confirm whether the Moto G version 1 takes a Micro SIM?
I'm struggling to find an answer on the line.
Everything seems to just be saying it's duel SIM, but not what type of SIM.
-
• #76744
My version 1 Moto G takes a micro SIM card. I'm not sure it supports dual-SIM though.
-
• #76745
It's a micro sim, and not duel.
Source: owned one.

Odd question... Does anyone know anything about VAT?
I currently rent an office for my business, which we are just in the process of getting rid of. We are selling all the furniture in the office to the next tenants for a couple of grand, so do I charge them VAT? We are both VAT registered companies if that makes a difference. Have asked my accountant, but they are being slow...
-
• #76748
Have you added any value to them?
Bit facetious, but there's your answer.
-
• #76749
I'm not sure you could add value to £25 ikea desks.., So I guess no VAT applied then.

Draw a cock and balls on the underside of all of them.
I wouldn't trust anyone with a website that shit.
