  • My cat wouldn't even fit in that.

  • I know it's tiny, he's a pretty big cat too

  • 23cm?!

  • They're the same dimensions as a standard carry-on bag.

  • is "airline approved" just a sticker or sth to make the price much higher than a normal carrier?

  • Anyone had an older cat have a front leg/shoulder amputation? My poor Tilly isn't recovering as quickly as I'd like, mobility and mood wise. She's not perking up like cats in vids do.
It has only been 2 week though, so not overly worried but still would be nice to hear from others.

  • Our new arrivals, Hocus (right) and Pocus.

  • Dem tufts! Very cute.

  • Thanks to whoever (sorry can't remember your name) said that taking the cat carrier out a few days to trick to cat to go into it prior to a ver visit. Well, it worked a treat for us, or me. I spooked Patch and she ran into the case for safety, win win! Until she realised she was being a fool... ha! 1 point to human, no point to cat!!

Glad to say Patch is well and healthy!!! Yay! Now she is under the bed feeling sorry for herself because a stranger (the vet) touched every inch of her body including sticking a stick into her bum... oh oh oh...

  • I've just read a thing about Lykoi cats. I hadn't heard of them, now I can't decide if they are an abomination, or cool as fuck...

  • Have you tried turning it off and on again?

  • Seems to be fully operational again now as it woke me up 3 times last night trying to open the bathroom door. The one fur free zone in the whole house.

  • Think the cat wants to be let in...

  • run... kitty... run...

  • My cat got in a bit of a scrap with two other cats yesterday. Two others were already at it and he went and got involved. Ended up sounding quite bad but a few gardens away so couldn't see what was happening.

When he came back, he was limping and not putting any weight on one of his front legs. Somehow scaled a fence to GTFO though.
He yelped when I picked him up but on inspection, couldn't find any obvious compound fracture. Quite a few scratches (tufts) on his shoulder that feel like they we're from another cat.

He seems better today. Still mopey and walked with much less of a limp, using his front leg more normally.

Guessing he sprained a wrist going over a fence in the heat of the moment...

  • Sounds normal. Ours come in with battle scars from time to time. The usual joys of spring seem to be overrunning a bit.

Absolutely gutted this morning. Got back from my morning ride to find both of our cats and both of the neighbours cats in a row doing monorail cat on the fence. Soon as I opened the door to nip in and get a camera, both of ours decided it was meaty time (it wasn't) and came rushing in causing the other two to wander off elsewhere.

I'm sure quadruple monorail cat is some kind of record. Also a bit worried that it's an omen.

  • So a full-blown cat train?

Also, they get along with the neighbours? Such polite...

  • There's a fragile peace due to the necessities of a shared ginnel. It also allows them to join forces against wanton aggression of the borderlands and safe passage to the promised shed roof.

  • It's always geopolitics with cats.

  • Jack left us his first kill, a small rat, at the back door this morning. A proud moment. Not sure my 6 and 3 year old daughters agree.

  • wait until you get ratS and MICE, not a rat and a mouse, then, only then, will your kitties accept you as one of them. Trust me, been there, still there, no sign of getting out of there for years yet... ;-)

  • Poor Catface is having to have daily baths at the moment. Hopefully this will help his dry, sore skin & stop him pulling more fur out, then vomiting it back up again. He really is the most rubbish cat ever with his huge list of problems: diabetes; allergies; dry, sore skin; vomiting... Good job he's cute sometimes to makeup for it.
